Volunteers Needed

We have a couple volunteer opportunities within the church!

• Eucharistic Adoration:
  • We will begin a full day of Eucharistic Adoration, every Wednesday, in Upper, starting September 2nd. It will follow the school Mass, at 9am through 7pm. With Adoration, we must always have someone in the church, if you are interested in assisting with any time frame.
• Children’s Liturgy of the Word:
  • Volunteers are needed to teach students age 3 through 3rd grade. Children will leave main Sunday Mass, before the readings to hear about scriptures proclaimed and explained at an age-appropriate level, returning to their families right after petitions. All lessons and crafts will be provided. We are asking for high school age and up. This will be on a rotating schedule, not every weekend.
• Catechist – Religious Education Teacher:
  • We are in need of an adult to teach our 2nd Grade Religious Education class in Upper on Wednesday evenings, from 6:30-7:30pm.
